I’m down to two copies of my first book in Arizona, maybe ten in Michigan. To publish or not to publish (again), that is the question.

Today I finally figured out how to work on this website. I was able to do everything I’d planned, except for the categories on the left of the home page. Grrr…

I haven’t updated this blog for ages because I couldn’t figure out how to do. Here’s hoping this works. Jeff, Bonita and I went to Whitewater Draw today. We saw (and heard) hundreds and hundreds of sand hill cranes.

TOOK BONITA FOR HER FIRST KAYAK RIDE. LOVED THE WILD SWEET PEA BLOSSOMS ON THE POINT, THE LOONS AND THEIR BABIES, THE KINGFISHER FISHING AND THE GORGEOUS DRAGONFLIES. WONDERED HOW TO TEACH A DOG TO STAY IN THE CENTER OF A KAYAK.

Took first kayaking trip of summer to end of lake. Sat totally still and drifted quite close to two loons and their tiny offspring.

Arrived in town at 6:45 AM to get a good spot for my booth. With help from several people, I got the canopy and the banner in place. Hope the 35-mile-an-hour winds we had for a signing in Arizona don’t show up here.
